We can help you cater for all your Retrofit assessment, Design and Coordinator requirements
Retrofit Assesments
Where there is an installation of an energy efficiency or renewable measure that is to be funded by a scheme such as ECO, Government or Local Authority grants it must be carried out in complete compliance with the Retrofit requirements as stipulated by TrustMark the organisation appointed by the government. The retrofit assessor (RA) will carry out a whole house assessment with a fabric first approach, this is performed by a person qualified in accordance with the requirements of PAS 2035. This means that all funded works are to have a retrofit assessment and any energy efficiency works/measures to be installed must be carried out by people suitably qualified and registered on Trustmark. The project cannot commence without the approval of a retrofit coordinator and the installer/contractor has to be an approved retrofit installer for the particular measures being installed. These works are carried out to PAS 2035 standard (publicly available specification)
