Commercial Energy

Business/building owners, commercial landlords, lease holders..

We have a few questions for you that will help us devise an energy saving solution and a profitable and compliant plan for the foreseeable future.

  1. Are your energy costs acceptable?
  2. Do you know they are likely to increase again as they are not regulated?
  3. Do you know what the energy rating (EPC) of your building is?
  4. Are you aware of the MEES (minimum energy efficiency standards) regulations?
  5. Did you know that all commercial buildings have to have an EPC rating of C by 2028 and B by 2030 or they cannot be rented/leased? Now that is little over 3 years away given that it’s 2025 very soon so not long at all to get things in order.
  6. All commercial buildings currently must have an EPC that is E or higher or it cannot be rented/leased. What is yours?

Some financially attractive solutions

The good thing about having to comply with these regulations by embarking on some remedial and upgrade works to the buildings is that the costs of such projects could be paid for from the energy savings achieved.

Solar PV – if a solar PV system was installed to a building this would reduce the dependency for electricity supply from the grid quite substantially and could provide as much as 30% savings.

Battery storage – if battery storage were to be installed with the solar system huge savings could be achieved.  A reduction of up to 70% is not unusual.  Or just installing our battery storage alone could provide substantial savings of up to 30%.

Heat pumps – are a very good means of heating a building or parts of it AND depending on meeting some qualifying criteria could be awarded a grant from the Government to cover some of the cost.

Insulation – It is crucial to ensure that the building fabric has sufficient insulation, the walls and any loft areas are very important and is where most of the heat is lost.

HydroMx – This is a nano fluid that when installed in a wet heating or cooling system saves up to 30% off the energy cost of fuelling the system.

Managed energy – We can also provide a smart energy management service that will ensure that your energy costs are future proofed.

Funding – we can also provide finance to cover the capital cost of the above and the savings on the energy bills would cover the repayments.

Top quality – All equipment specified and installed is premium tier 1 kit, solar panels that have a 30 year guarantee and probably the world’s best.  Battery storage systems again tier 1 from long established suppliers and probably the best in the world.

Accreditation – The people and companies involved in the installations are all approved and registered with the respective accreditation organisations such as MCS, and have insurance backed guarantees.
